While we strive to product the highest quality product possible, there are some “defects” that are inherent to the 3D printing process. Examples of these are shown below. Returns and/or exchanges for the reasons shown below will not be considered.
Bottom of Base
Bottom of Base
The smoothing process will not affect the bottom of the base. You will still see the layers lines visible.
Surface Smoothness
Surface Smoothness
There may be portions of the hand that are not as smooth as the rest of the model.
These tend to be surfaces that are secluded and surfaces that have steeper angles.
Seam
Seam
You may see the seam line. The seam has been positioned so it is on the backside of the hand to reduce visibility.
Some colors (metallics) show the seam line more than others.
Bottoms of Surfaces
Bottoms of Surfaces
The bottom side of surfaces that printed on top of support material will not be as smooth as the rest of the model.
Pinholes
Pinholes
There may be small pinholes included in the product. We attempt to reduce these as much as possible.
Color
Color
The color of the finished product may vary slightly due to differences in monitor settings, lighting, fabrication parameters, etc.
Also, the smoothing process changes the color slightly from the raw filament color.
